PUPPYTEETH 3 Spotlight:
Jessi ZabarskyAbove is a sample from Jessi Zabarsky.’s contribution to PUPPYTEETH 3, debuting at SPX on September 15th.
Jessi’s piece in Stampy and the Magic Geight impressed me hard right off the bat. It was an early indication of the things I love most about her work: excruciatingly precise cartooning (usually totes adorbs) that shows a perfectionism and a love of the comics form, in the service of a quiet but emotionally disturbing subject. Since then she’s been exploring other media in her work, as well as honing in on what is the most personally significant to her. As excited as I am to have her as part of another PUPPYTEETH, I’m even more excited that she’s continuing to evolve so much.
This is Jessi’s second time contributing to PUPPYTEETH.
